Objectives of the Programme:
* To raise awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the legal and social consequences of addiction.
* To educate students about the importance of personal safety, consent, and respectful behaviour to prevent sexual harassment.
* To empower students with knowledge about the laws, support systems, and reporting mechanisms available in cases of drug-related issues or harassment.
* To promote a healthy, safe, and inclusive campus environment through active student participation and discussion.
* To collaborate with law enforcement (Tamil Nadu Police) and institutional bodies (NSS & WEC) in building preventive strategies through community engagement.
Expected Outcomes of the Programme:
* Students will gain a better understanding of the physical, emotional, and legal consequences of drug addiction and sexual harassment.
* Increased awareness and sensitivity among students regarding respectful interpersonal conduct.
* Students will become familiar with available resources and helplines for seeking help or reporting incidents.
* Encouragement of peer support and positive behavioural change within the student community.
* Strengthened partnership between educational institutions and law enforcement for student welfare and safety.
