Placement Drive Organized Through Nirman Organization A placement drive was successfully organized today in our college through Nirman Organization, Chrompet, providing valuable employment opportunities for our students. Job Details: A large number of students enthusiastically participated in the recruitment process. Career Guidance & Industry Interaction Programme
The Placement Cell of Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain Arts and Science College, Nallur organized a Career Guidance & Industry Interaction Programme on 24th December 2025 for the benefit of all students. The programme featured eminent industry professionals as resource persons: The session focused on the theme “Industry Expectations, Career Readiness, and Opportunities for Graduates in the IT & Corporate Sector.” The speakers highlighted current industry requirements, essential technical and soft skills, career pathways in IT and corporate domains, and effective strategies for placement preparation and interviews. Information regarding the drive was circulated widely through WhatsApp groups, personal messages, and phone calls, reaching over 110 alumni students. Although only a few alumni attended the interview, the recruitment team from TVS Turbo Energy appreciated the discipline, communication, and professionalism of our students. One Day Seminar on Data Science with AI
The Departments of Computer Science and Computer Application organized a One Day Seminar on “Data Science with AI” on 8th July 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain Arts and Science College (Co-Ed). The seminar, sponsored by FIIT Formación Pvt. Ltd., featured Mr. Vinoth Kumar S (Tech Trainer, FIIT Formación Pvt. Ltd.) as the Chief Guest and Resource Person. The session provided students with valuable insights into Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Python, Power BI, Cloud Computing, and Networking. Students gained practical knowledge of how AI and data analytics are shaping the future of the IT industry. The Departments sincerely thank the Management, Principal Dr. K. Workshop on Python Programming
The Departments of Computer Science and Computer Application of Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain Arts and Science College (Co-Ed) organized a Workshop on Python Programming on 27th September 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The session was handled by Ms. Badrunisha S.B, Software Trainer, from Velgrow Academy, who shared her expertise in Python, web technologies, and machine learning. The workshop focused on providing hands-on training and practical insights to help students strengthen their programming and project development skills. The event proved highly beneficial for the final-year B.Sc. and B.C.A. students, preparing them for their academic projects and enhancing their technical confidence. Technospark 2k25 – A Technical Symposium The Departments of Computer Science and Computer Application of Guru Shree Shantivijai Jain Arts and Science College (Co-Ed) jointly organized a two-day technical symposium “Technospark 2k25” on 24th and 25th September 2025. The objective of the symposium was to encourage innovation, technical skills, and creativity among students, while fostering collaboration and academic excellence. Various technical and creative competitions were conducted, including:TechVistas (Paper Presentation), ChartCrafters (Poster Presentation), ByteBattles (Hackathon), FrameStorm (Reels Making), Brain-o-thon (Quiz), ProjectXplore (Project Presentation), Pitch Perfect (Adzap), ShutterUp (Photography), and PixelPlay (Canva Clash). The event witnessed active participation from students who demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and technical prowess. Invited guests Mrs. A. Thenmozhi and Mrs. K. Nivetha appreciated the college’s efforts in promoting student innovation and knowledge sharing. The symposium was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. K. Archunan, Hon. Chairman Dr. P. Programme Objectives • Raise Awareness: To educate students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse on individuals, families, and society. •Promote Healthy Living: To encourage a drug-free lifestyle by highlighting the benefits of physical and mental well-being. •Empower Youth: To empower students and young individuals to resist peer pressure and make informed, responsible choices. •Community Engagement: To foster collaboration among students, faculty, and the local community in addressing the social issue of drug abuse. •Support Government Initiatives: To align with national and state-level anti-drug campaigns and contribute to building a drug-free society.
