The Women’s Day celebration at our college was held on 8th March 2025 with great enthusiasm and pride. The event aimed to honor the strength, resilience, and achievements of women, and to inspire students towards empowerment and self-realization.

The Chief Guest for the event was Annai Yasodha Thirumoolar Sathya Avargal, who shared her profound thoughts, especially with the girl students. Her insightful speech focused on the “Thirumanthiram” and the concept of the soul, leaving the audience deeply inspired and spiritually enriched.

As part of the celebration, the Tamil Department organized a spirited Tamil debate on the thought-provoking topic:
“Sodhanaigalai Sadhagalaga Maatruvathu Pengalae! Aangalae!”
(Who better transforms challenges into achievements – Women or Men?)

The debate showcased the oratory skills and critical thinking of the participants, and the judgement was delivered by Annai Yasodha Thirumoolar Sathya Avargal, who appreciated the efforts of all students and encouraged them to continue voicing their thoughts with courage and clarity.

The celebration was a meaningful tribute to the spirit of womanhood and served as a platform for thoughtful discussion and empowerment.
