On 8th March 2025, a valedictory ceremony for special skill development programme was successfully conducted from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the College Auditorium, organized jointly by WEC (Women Empowerment Cell) and MIND Trust.
Over 30 women students actively participated in and completed a free certificate course in Aari Work – a traditional hand embroidery technique. The course was conducted under the guidance and support of MIND Trust, and certificates of course completion and the MSME (Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), Government of India were issued.
This initiative aimed to:
1. Empower women students with self-employment and income-generating skills.
2. Promote traditional Indian handcrafts through professional training.
3. Enhance entrepreneurial opportunities for young women in the field of fashion and textile design.
The programme received an enthusiastic response, and the participants expressed interest in further skill-based initiatives. The event marked a significant step towards women’s empowerment through vocational education.
